So We Did a Thing…

Through the first wave of Covid, I spent a lot of time (and I mean a LOT) whining about all the travel opportunities we’d planned but were missing. (After all, the #RetiredReinspired logo is a plane circling our monogram!)

Flashback to last January when we attended an RV show in Fort Myers and first laid eyes on Leisure Travel Vans. We were in aw e at these beauties! Designed and built in Manitoba, Canada, LTVs had us glowing with pride at the layout, engineering, and construction of the Wonder Murphy Bed we were sitting in. “This,” I said to Dave, “is something I could get into!”

Three months later, we were stuck at home: scrolling the platforms for travel vlogs, sites, blogs, photos, and coming back again and again to Leisure Travel Vans videos like we had a rash!!!!! We did consider other RV styles and brands but ultimately, Dean’s excellent descriptions of his product on the LTV YouTube Channel along with the posts on the LTV Enthusiasts Facebook Group convinced us that the Leisure Travel Van Twin Bed was the rig for us!

We started combing the buy and sell platforms looking for a gently used LTV Unity24TB – and FOUND ONE! Look, I know they are like hens teeth; I know that COVID has depleted the stock RVs of all stripes; I know that it’s rare to find a rig that has been well cared for, with lowish kms and in one’s local area. So… just as I said:

We did a thing!
